Registered Health Care Aide - Awake Overnights

Classic LifeCare is looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Health Care Aide to join our team in Calgary, AB as a Full Time/Part time Awake Overnights. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing quality care and improving the quality of life of our clients.
Requirements

• Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not required
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Certificate or Diploma in Health Care Support from a recognized college
• Working knowledge of Resident Care and Medicine Administration
• Current registration and in good standing with the Alberta Health Care Aide directory
• Ability to manage multiple task and prioritize quality care

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings, and other departmental activities
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained for all residents and clients
• Provide resident-centered nursing and personal care for clients
• Follow care plans to ensure quality service and promote the health and safety of residents
• Adhere to all safety precautions and resident care standards.
• Document and report any changes in physical, emotional, or mental conditions to the supervisor
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, wound care, transfers, medication, nutrition, and hygiene.
