About The Job

We looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with expertise in AWS serverless technologies, as well as a strong understanding of API development and support to participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that leverage AWS serverless infrastructure, while also ensuring efficient and secure API integration with Andorix backend application servers. You will also get the opportunity to coach junior developers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing startup!

What you will be doing:

• Manage testing and bug fixes
• Design, develop and maintain Python-based applications
• Implement security measures and best practices to protect data and systems
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architecture, and implement solutions that meet business needs
• Document code, processes and procedures
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
• Integrate front-end components into applications
• Utilize AWS serverless technologies, such as Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, and S3 to build scalable solutions
• Develop and maintain efficient APIs, adhering to RESTful principles

About You:

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and DynamoDB with the ability to design efficient data models
• 3-5 years experience as a Python Developer, with a strong understanding of Python we frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask)
• Strong mentorship & leadership skills
• Experience with network management protocols (e.g. netconf/SNMP)
• Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with various systems
• Experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge & experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
