Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

·Define the cost controlling scope of the project(s) in collaboration with team members.

·Contribute to a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.

·Collaboratively determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project.

·Assist in development and review project schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.

·Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.

·Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for customers as required and ensure financial reports are up to date.

·Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at, or exceed, the required level of quality.

·Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase and update project managers on a weekly basis the status of their projects.

·Prepare proposals and cost estimates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Post-Secondary Education

·2+ years’ experience in a project planner, cost controller, or project coordinator role directly related to project management

·Proficiency in use of project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, MS Project, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Open Invoice, etc.

·Knowledge of PMI standards and practices

·Good presentation skills and excellent oral and written skills are also required
