Summary

We are currently hiring for a Pricing Analyst to join our Western Canada team. Reporting to the Price Execution Manager, the Pricing Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day work of collecting and analyzing data from both internal and external sources to support data-driven decision-making regarding merchandise pricing. You will work closely with our local Merchandising team and our Global Data & Analytics team. This is an exciting and important role in our organization as we become an even more data-driven company.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Share best practices and lessons learned about processes with other business units and global teams.
• Work with Merchandising team and our Data & Analytics team to maximize data usage in our pricing and merchandising initiatives.
• Independently carry out ongoing pricing analyses using internal and external data, and play an active role in the annual pricing strategy review process
• Review, analyze and validate information from our Data & Analytics team and propose pricing recommendations.
• Actively participate in the annual review of prices, assortments, and campaign strategies in connection with business planning.
• Contribute to automation and improvement of reporting, pricing-related processes and embed new processes.

Profile Requirements

• Experience in pricing and assortment optimization is a plus.
• Experience providing suggestions/recommendations on compiled data.
• Experience with data visualization and presenting data in an effective manner to different target groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields or related experience.
• Experience in compiling and combining data from various sources.
• Experience using Power BI, Excel and Macros is a plus.
• Experience analyzing data in the retail industry, preferably from a large organization.
