Overnight Cleaner Jobs

Highlights

• Remove all refuse from garbage bins, recycle bins and building daily, ensuring that trash cans is empty and clean.
• Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
• Clean work areas within warehouse floor.
• Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety in accordance with OSHA, applicable legislation, and company policies & procedures
• Clean with hand brooms, power scrubbers, sweepers, and vacuum cleaners to meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the facility.
• Prepare complete and accurate records and reports as required.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks as directed effectively and safely.

Job Requirements

• Experience working in a warehouse environment, maintenance experience an asset;
• Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with all levels of the organization;
• Completion of High School or equivalent;
• Experience operating power scrubbers and sweepers, power pallet truck, compactor or bailers an asset.
• Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision and standing/walking/lifting for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment.

Shift

Sunday - Thursday, 11:30pm - 8:00am
