Job Description

Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Care

British Colombia Remote

Salary range between $75 to $80 per hour


MPA have been retained by a leading digital health organization to recruit for a Nurse Practitioner to join their team on a virtual remote basis. The client is a digital health organization that specialises in providing care for those in underrepresented communities across Canada. Their blend of technology and primary care provides better access to healthcare, ultimately leading to better healthcare coverage and better patient outcomes.


In this role, you will work closely with the clinical operations teams to devise comprehensive care programs that is best for their patients. They are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide high quality ADHD care, mental health care and conduct initial screenings in a virtual care setting.


You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating patient records and charting in their EMR.
  • Creating lab orders and reviewing laboratory results.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the patient experience.
  • Providing the best-in-class care to patients through their virtual care platform


Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent communication skills and empathetic care delivery
  • The dynamic ability to be solution oriented, time efficient and adaptable.
  • A calm and non-judgmental communication style
  • 1+ years of NP experience (or 2+ years of experience as an RN) in mental health or primary care, within the past 5 years
  • A Master's degree in Nursing and Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner diploma.
  • Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)


Desirable Criteria:

  • Prior experience working in a fast paced start up or digital health organization in the private sector
  • Experience working from a trauma informed lens.
  • Previous experience collaborating and working alongside diverse communities and marginalized populations.
  • Prior experience delivering quality virtual care.
