As Colliers Project Leaders continues to grow and attract new and exciting opportunities, we are seeking Medical Equipment Operators for a province wide Inventory Survey Project. This position is for a period of 12-18 months and will be assigned a term full-time contract with the potential to transition to a permeant fulltime position with our Equipment Planning Team at the conclusion of the contract.


Headquartered out of Saskatoon, this role will get the opportunity to work with the best Furniture and Equipment Planning team in the industry and survey facilities across the great province of Saskatchewan. In this role you will travel across Saskatchewan to over 200 healthcare sites to complete a comprehensive inventory of the owner’s capital assets ranging from lose furniture, to medical equipment, to building systems.


Responsibilities


  • Collect asset information using mobile technology and QR-code scanning cameras;
  • Ensuring project activities are conducted in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders best practice and Quality Management System; and,
  • Attend daily team huddles, supporting needed action items and key field decisions;
  • Work alongside experienced team leads to learn the keys to successful and safe project delivery while maintaining good relationships with the client and stakeholders;
  • Following ISO certified Health and Safety Standards as required.
  • Must have strong sense of ownership of their work and a personal commitment to supporting the public sector;


Qualifications


  • Familiarity with the operations of healthcare facilities would be considered an asset.
  • Moderate computer skills, including a working knowledge of spreadsheet (MS-Excel) software is an asset;
  • A degree or diploma in any related field to Mech. Engineering, biomedical technology, nursing, interior/furniture design, construction management or project management (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience);
  • Good verbal communication skills;
  • Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment to cope with schedule changes as per the client needs;
  • Ability to identify and have a rudimentary understanding of various building systems is considered an asset; and,
  • Self-motivation, initiative and an eagerness to learn and contribute to meeting project timelines, collection rates and quality levels;
