Job Description
Position Overview


Reporting to the Central Regional Manager, the MCC Supervisor is a key Member of the Service and Success team. This role is critical in supporting Member Care Coordinators to achieve Member service support in collaboration with the branch team, attain competency levels required for their role as well as identifying and implementing improvements to National Standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities


As an MCC Supervisor, you will


  • Interpret call trends and share key observations and recommendations with MCCs and Regional Managers to celebrate success and to improve areas of opportunity
  • Develop the skills of existing MCC’s and new hires so they are able to achieve FBC service standards
  • Provide positive and corrective feedback to MCC’s on their communication and service performance
  • Evaluate the performance of and support MCC’s to achieve FBC Service and Success standards through actively monitoring and reviewing recorded and live Member interactions
  • Collaborate with other team members/departments to manage and exceed Member expectations
  • Be a regional contact point for MCC questions on products and services
  • Lead by example and demonstrate exemplary customer service to FBC Members and FBC associates in relying on them to service the Membership


Qualifications


Education and Experience


  • Previously held a Technical Tax Position or a Supervisory Position
  • Related Business Diploma/Degree or Equivalent Experience


Other Requirements


  • Ability to interpret data and reporting information, recognize trends and recommend/take action to impact trends in a positive way
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Ability to engage, supervise and lead both local and remote teams
  • An aptitude for learning
  • Basic tax, accounting or bookkeeping skills
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position Overview


Across FBC, we have over one hundred field service representatives we call Local Tax Consultants – (LTCs) battling it out through rain and snow to meet with our members to help them with their compliance and tax planning. Behind these hard-working men and women of FBC are our Field Rep Supervisors.


The Field Rep Supervisor supports the delivery of excellent products and services to FBC Members and business development.


They have an eye for detail and desire to go above and beyond to enable their team to be set up for success. The Field Rep Supervisors are empowered problem solvers that deal with every situation analytically and creatively, for a positive outcome.

Key Responsibilities


As a Field Rep Supervisor, you will


  • Oversee the training and development activities of team members
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Members and in the communities in which we serve
  • Collaborate with other departments, winning together to achieve results
  • Onboard, engage and retain team members
  • Monitor and react to performance data to ensure service, quality, sales, and productivity goals are met
  • Set a high standard for Member experience and products and successfully resolve Member issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Leverage skills in decision making, communication and modelling behavior to create a culture and a team that works together to deliver a positive Member experience and grow the business
  • Adhere to and support company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Identify opportunities to for continuous improvement including Member service and sales
  • Manage performance including regular one on one meetings and annual performance reviews
  • Conduct regular individual and team meetings to ensure that individuals and teams are committed to activities to achieve outcomes around Member experience and financial results


Qualifications


Education and Experience


  • Tax or accounting experience would be considered an asset
  • 5+ years of experience achieving business results through managing customer service experience, quality products, customer retention, new client sales and value-added services.
  • Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or related work experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both formal and informal settings
  • Proven track record of developing and retaining high performers
  • Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency in a deadline driven business
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to coach, inspire and engage a team to achieve business goals
  • Out of town travel is required
  • Proactive and results oriented
