Innovate to solve the world's most important challenges
Utilize your logistics expertise and be part of handling a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment. You will assist in the daily store operations to ensure critical parts availability, material handling and so on. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those duties are fulfilled and goals are met.
Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility
May at times be required to provide direction to the team
Managing pick lists, receipts and put-away to support achievement of daily throughput
Cross train on shipping and other tasks as allocated
Participate and manage kitting process for top products within the facility
Support Point of use activities as and when required
Conduct cycle count of stores inventory to ensure accuracy targets achieved
Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions.
Conducting 5S activities in support of the stores
Adhere to instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures
Basic understanding of Canada Customs Program, customs self-assessment, and receiving deliverables in accordance to CSA Requirements
The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE
High School Diploma / GED
1-2 years of related experience in shipping and receiving or material handling, in a warehouse environment
WE VALUE
Basic level computer skills on Windows and Microsoft Office
Aerospace Experience Preferred
SAP knowledge and/or willingness to learn the menus and become proficient in them
Ability to complete an Excel spreadsheet
Strong aptitude for reading part numbers, order numbers and quantities correctly
Strong attention to details
Flexibility in work schedule as over time will be a requirement (weekends included based on business needs)
