MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As the Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, installs and improvements of equipment in the plant.

·Maintain the equipment, tools, and physical facilities of the plant in good working operation.

·Schedule inspections to identify deficiencies and problems to ensure good condition of equipment and plant facilities.

·Inform and promote safe and correct use of equipment and plant systems.

·Respond to emergency maintenance situations in the plant and offer quick/effective solutions to continue production.

·Proactively maintain equipment and the facility in general.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

·Several years experience in plant maintenance or working in related trades.

·Education in power engineering, mechanics, or electronics is an asset.

·Proficient with computers and technology with the ability to learn and utilize software programs.

·Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make decision rapidly.

·Strong organization skills and communication skills.

·Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
