About The Opportunity


Southcoast Reman currently has an opportunity for a certified and experienced Coast Species Lumber Grader to join our team in Maple Ridge, BC.


Keys for success include a positive attitude, consistent effort, and a reliable attendance record. Our commitment is to provide a safe and productive work environment with continuous improvement to sustain the livelihoods of the families we employ.


Our Ticketed Lumber Grader role may include but not restricted to the following key aspects of the position:


  • Must be able to deal directly with customers.
  • Must have sound knowledge of lumber defect to achieve maximum grade recovery.
  • Able to read & understand various types of written line-ups.
  • Certified & experienced “Coast Species Lumber Grader” (CMSA Grading Ticket preferred)
  • Ensure customer quality specifications are maintained consistent with work orders.
  • Good written and oral communication.
  • Able to turn (inspect), push, pull, and manually apply correct grade marks on various sized lumber on a moving grading table.
  • Able to follow safe work procedures for a manual lumber grader.


Salary: $ 31.00 per hour


Schedule: Our current production shifts are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.
