About The Role
- Maintain proper documentation and record Keeping
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
- Maintaining a professional setting for retail and community outreach
- Perform clinical and drug distribution responsibilities as required
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, offering consultation and guidance to patients
- Ensure Administrative responsibilities for the store
- Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs
- Adapt quickly to different pharmacy environments, systems, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, physicians, and other stakeholders as necessary
- Maintaining and protecting patient confidentiality
- Maintaining a compassionate environment and supporting patients
- Maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship among health care professionals; responding to requests, building rapport
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different pharmacy environments and schedules.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, drug therapy, and pharmacy operations.
- Proven experience as a pharmacist, preferably with previous locum or relief experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in pharmacy management software and computer systems.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and adherence to regulations and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Current and valid pharmacy license in the province of practice.
