Role Description

Chrissy’s Hair Studio located in Etobicoke, ON is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic full-time, on-site Licensed Hair Colourist for hire who will work with a diverse clientele. As a Licensed Hair Colourist for hire at Chrissy’s Hair Studio, you will create customized hair colour formulations and supervise Colour Technicians while keeping up with current trends and techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to consult with clients and provide hair colour recommendations based on their features, lifestyle, and preferences
• Familiarity with various hair textures and how they react to different color products and formulas
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional Hair Styling or Beauty Industry License
• Ability to work in a team environment and to supervise and guide junior staff
• Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends
• Knowledge of hair color chemistry and various coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, lowlights, base color, toning, and corrective color
• Minimum of two years experience as a dedicated hair colorist
