Your Future Role:


A Licensed Fabricator is responsible for reading & understanding schematics and blueprints and fabricating metal parts and structures per the customer request, working with mostly stainless steel. We are looking to add someone to our team who is eager to learn, detail-orientated and a team player. It is crucial that our Licensed Fabricator promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Polishing/finishing welds
  • Assist with various shop projects, including shop maintenance
  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship
  • Fabrication of various jobs/projects
  • Able to read blueprints/drawing/sketches
  • Use of brake, shear and saw
  • Welding
  • All other duties as assigned
  • In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company
  • Work closely with designers & engineers & product development
  • Accurate and timely completion of all daily paperwork
  • Read and understand schematics and blueprints
  • Use of iron worker
  • Layout (fitting)
  • Knowledge of Tri-Mach Group Inc. HACCP and GMP guidelines and practices
  • Conduct quality control checks


Requirements


  • You operate with a team spirit, not with ego; you want everyone, including yourself, to do their best work; you see your success as dependent on the success of the team
  • CWB tickets considered a strong asset
  • Previous 1-4 years of fabrication experience
  • You are able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions, cope effectively with complexity and change, quickly understand and absorb new information and respond appropriately
  • Completion of High School or equivalent
  • You have the ability to think beyond the needs of the customer to point out errors and potential issues
  • Stainless Steel TIG welding experience as a must
  • Metal Fabricator/Fitter 437A or equivalent
  • You have a get it done attitude and are skilled at removing barriers
  • You are a straight shooter who gets to the point and can clearly communicate in both oral and written form
