Essential Functions Of The Jr Data Analyst Role

• Execute validation checks to identify data element inconsistencies.
• Conduct advanced analysis using large datasets and complex business requirements to drive meaningful change in key performance indicators and objectives.
• Produce reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that effectively communicate analytic results in a clear and compelling manner.
• Collaborate with leadership to design and implement solutions, ensuring alignment with standard business trends and identification of outliers.
• Utilize SQL querying across multiple platforms and scripting to retrieve relevant data, while optimizing queries and following best practices.

Additional Responsibilities Of The Jr Data Analyst

• Clearly identify key points and call out deeper insights or tie them to other visuals, demonstrating their relevance to business performance through written communication.
• Follow project plans and proactively communicate progress and roadblocks.
• Review and refine analysis through iterative development.
• Adhere to project timelines and maintain clear and concise documentation on requirements, project goals, methodology, and output.
• Understand the importance of project planning and independently create project plans.
• Maintain a focus on flow and context, ensuring that analysis provides insights that are visually appealing and directly tied to business strategy.
• Collaborate with IT and Business teams to establish reporting governance using our BI tools.
