Torque Industrial Ltd. is looking for Journeyman Millwrights either employees or contractors to join our team to work in various locations as needed.

Main Responsibilities: will include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and manuals
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of mechanical equipment
• Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner
• Able to work Individually or in larger group atmospheres
• Alignments, maintenance, repairs, service and inspection of equipment
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools
• Complete all jobs in a timely manner
• Assemble machinery and commission start up support
• Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition
• Shutdown service support and asset rebuilds
• Safely operate mobile equipment and hoisting devices when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work with minimal direction
• Driver license
• Knowledge and ability to assemble, install and commission mechanical systems
• Basic experience with overhead cranes and rigging equipment
• Knowledge and experience of industry related safe work practices
• Journeyman Millwright Certification
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Understanding of drives, shafts, bearings, belts, chain alignments and lubrication.
