In-Game Host (Belleville Senators)

The Belleville Senators Hockey Cub is the Bay of Quinte’s pro hockey team and American Hockey League Affiliate of the Ottawa Senators. We play all 36 of our home games at the CAA Arena located in the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre at 265 Cannifton Rd., Belleville, ON.
We are currently seeking an individual or individuals who are passionate about hockey and the Bay of Quinte Community. As part of the Senators team, you will be the centre of all in-game entertainment. This will encompass providing entertainment and interacting with fans in the CAA Arena during Belleville Senators home game to create an exciting and family-friendly atmosphere!
Essential Functions
As the in-game host your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Facilitate in-game activations both on and off the ice
• Bring passion and excitement to the CAA Arena and lead the cheer during Belleville Senators home games
• Complete live-on-video reads and voice-over scripted reads throughout the game
• Follow direction from the Producer

Requirements
The in-game host must have the following requirements:

• Able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and improv when necessary
• Experience in radio and/or television broadcast is considered an asset
• Able to read timed scripted segments with confidence in front of large crowds
• Able to perform under pressure
• Able to multitask efficiently
• Must be comfortable interacting with large groups of fans
