: Industrial Tank Cleaner


  • Multiple projects across Western Canada
  • Projects starting in April 2023
  • Travel, Accommodations and LOA Provided

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced Industrial Tank Cleaner to join our team in the Oil and Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various types of tanks, including crude oil, fuel, and water storage tanks. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Clean and maintain tanks using various methods, including high-pressure water, vacuum, and chemical cleaning.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training programs as required.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while working in hazardous environments.
  • Document all tank cleaning activities and report any issues or deviations to the Supervisor.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all tank cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Remove sludge, debris, and other materials from the tanks.


Requirements:


  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with hazardous materials and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work various shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • H2S Alive, Confined Space, First Aid , Fall arrest, CSO, CSTS, APR (Air Purifying Respirator) RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment)
  • Knowledge of tank cleaning equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial tank cleaning in the Oil and Gas industry.
