Job Description
Redpath Sugar is part of the ASR Group, the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar, with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar.


The Redpath Belleville plant is a blending and packaging operation producing a variety of sugar containing products for customers in Canada and the U.S. The plant operates state of the art high speed mixing and packaging systems supported by high level safety, quality and logistics systems.


We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing operation and have excellent communication skills, a drive for results and have the energy and vision to recognize and implement improvement opportunities both independently and as part of a team with members of all levels of an organization.


Overview


As a member of the team, you will be responsible for operating various types of packaging and mixing equipment.


  • In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in your area and following Good Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety Policies.
  • Preparing materials and weighing ingredients for product blending
  • Maintaining all required sampling, documentation, and verification activities for your tasks.
  • Operating mixing equipment and ensuring accurate completion of processing steps and quality requirements
  • Completing sanitation and good housekeeping activities in the plant
  • Being part of a packaging line team operating packing, labeling, and palletizing equipment
  • You are a team player who is eager to learn and have attention to detail and pride in your work.


Requirements


  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or food production environment is also an asset.
  • To be successful in the position, we required High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and ability to use hand tools, use digital scale with timer and enter weights into a computer.
