Job Description

Momentm is in search of more great developers! We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Developer who is eager to learn and loves programming. Picture yourself building a successful career at Momentm, working on exciting projects in a fast-paced Agile development team.

Responsibilities

As a developer at Momentm Technologies, you’ll be responsible for working on our add-on products which are both web based and mobile applications. These products are developed using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Vue and are constantly evolving. You will work on all aspects of the solution – from the database and server to APIs and user interfaces.

In our Agile development process, you’ll start each day with a daily standup to give the team an update of what you’re working on. At the start of each sprint, you’ll meet with the team, volunteer for tasks, and estimate them in a sprint planning meeting. When the sprint ends, you’ll be able to show off your creations to employees from around the company. This fast-paced environment ensures that you are constantly challenged and never get bored working on the same feature for months.

Writing code is only part of your job. You’ll also be relied upon to create unit tests, write feature documentation, and review the code of your fellow team members. Coming up with specifications is a team effort to which you will contribute, and you’ll be counted on for ideas to improve our development process.

We provide a flexible working environment, including flexible hours and work locations. We support hybrid working models that allow employees to split time between home and office, as well as primarily remote work if desired. With offices in Mississauga, ON and Calgary, AB, our workspaces are designed to be flexible and collaborative environments.
