Job Description

One of Stellar Recruitment's clients is searching for a Full Stack to contribute to an exciting and collaborative project. In this role, the ideal applicant will be designining, developing, and testing applications for systems upgrading and migration. Responsibilities:

  • Assist in migrating existing system off OpenVMS
  • Modernize client data and information collection and distribution
  • Work on system replacement and subsequent development and implementation
  • Ingest and distribute data using microservices and API first approach.
  • Collaborate with the client to provide application design, development, and testing.


Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in the following technology stack: SiteMinder, SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth2, JavaScript (and frameworks), Spring, HTML5/CSS3, Git, Java/J2EE, Hibernate/PrimeFaces, Postgres, and Oracle 12c.
  • Experience translating software specifications into code and documenting technical work.
  • Familiarity with developing technical reference materials.
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence in an agile approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to program, test, and support system development and maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the BC Government IT sector
