Full Stack Developer Jobs

Mxpert is a technologystartupcompany located in St. John’s, NL and is a part of Genesis Centre. We are developing a cutting-edge, cloud-based Garage Management System (GMS) that is explicitly designed to assist independent garages in streamlining their workflow, increasing efficiency, and managing customer relationships. Mxpert GMS addresses the unique needs of independent garages by eliminating the use of traditional pen-and-paper methods of managing appointments and invoicing.

At Mxpert, we are recruiting a Full Stack Developer, a post-secondary graduate who fits the requirements below. The duration of this position is six months, but there is potential for an extension after the contract period. The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop or improve our web application. The candidate will work with the founder & development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring, supporting, or enhancing existing application
• Designing application from conception to completion
• Design, development, testing and debugging of the front-end and back-end of the applications
• Contributing to team processes and quality control measures
• Other duties as assigned
• Communicating effectively with the team members on various tasks and projects

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of one or more of the following: Building REST APIs, Express and Mongo DB, Flutter, Node.js
• Time management and multi-tasking ability
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
• Great attention to detail
