Freelance Publications Lead Jobs

We are working with a boutique consulting company with a singular focus on insights, strategy, and communications for the life sciences industry. Who work with a number of Canadian, US, and European based pharmaceutical and biotech clients including, Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Sage Therapeutics, Spark Therapeutics, Neurogene, Intercept, bluebird bio, Ovid, Jazz Pharma, Vertex Pharmaceuticals and many others.

My client is seeking a Freelance Publication Manager to assist with building out the medical communication team.

The requirements and responsibilities:

· Responsible for helping build out the medical communication team

· Strong expertise and background in Publications

· Edit and develop high-quality content for an array of projects as needed

· Project management experience

· This will be a Client facing role – client exposure preferred

· Oversee the development of projects, ensuring strategic planning, implementation and alignment with client objectives

· Manage and develop a team of direct reports. Support team growth and development

Must have:

· A Masters or higher in Life Sciences is required. (MSc., PhD., PharmD, etc.)

· Experience managing a team

· Previous experience in the medical communication industry

· Legally able to work in Canada and ability to legally travel outside Canada

Contractual:

· 6 months

· 40 hrs per week

· ASAP start

· Remote – occasionally travel
