Job Description
Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring for ALL LEVELS of ELECTRICIANS for projects located in the Fort St John region.


Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must live within commuting distance of Fort St John be willing to relocate to the area.

  • Foreman
  • Leadhand
  • Journeymen
  • Apprentices
  • Site Supervisor
  • QA/QC


Requirements


  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record
  • Previous electrical construction and/or maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector would be considered an asset
  • Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
  • Willing to accept applicants looking to be indentured into the trade
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Electrical Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year), OR
  • Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel
  • Preference will be given to applicants from the Fort St John area
  • Journeyman Electrical certificate, OR
