PTW is hiring 309AElectricians - All Levelsto join our team for a projectin the Greater Toronto Hamilton Area, Ontario Canada. Position is open for people local to the area and from other locations in Ontario.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of heavy industrial electrical applications
Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Installs, examines, replaces, or repairs AC/DC Motors and Drives, PLC's, 480-600V power, 120V control circuits, 4160-volt switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical controls.
Installs, examines, replaces, or repairs electrical systems including but not limited to: ladder tray, instrument tray, grounding and bonding, teck cables, PLC and JB panel wiring, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
Sizes and installs electrical circuits including panels, wire size and type, tray or conduit, protective devices, switches, and related equipment needed to comply with the CEC and/or NEC.
Fabricates, installs and/or runs ladder tray & conduit systems, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.
Experience Requirements
Must possess heavy industrial (ie: oil & gas, mining, etc.) experience.
Must be a Registered Electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson with valid licensing in Ontario.
Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
Excellent communication skills.
Have a demonstrated ability to work safely.
Tickets Requirements
Must have valid safety tickets (Fall Arrest/Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid )
AWP/MEWP is an asset.
A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
