Summary:Looking for a DZ dump truck driver to operate tri-axle dump trucks safely and efficiently.

What you will do:

• Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.
• Must be dependable and be able to manage time effectively to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Must keep equipment clean and in good condition (cleaning materials provided & report equipment deficiencies to onsite mechanics)
• Must be professional, respectful & courteous when dealing with customers, general public and coworkers.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, or other drivers.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct.
• Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly secure.
• Perform mandatory circle checks on trucks before driving them to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order,
• Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable provincial regulations.

What you will bring to the job:

• Able to drive using a manual transmission, able to work long days, flexible work hours.
• 2 to 3 years Tri-axle dump truck experience is required
• A letter of experience from current or previous Employer showing at least three years ofheavy truck commercial driving coverage for insurance purposes
• Valid DZ driver’s license & clean CVOR Driver's Abstract
• Aggregate experience an asset
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, supervisors and mechanics.
• Must be safety oriented and report to each shift with full PPE (CSA approved hard hat, safety shirt/vest & work boots)
• We require a good safety and driving record and dependability.
• Must be physically able to climb ladder & able to clean out dump box (shovel)as required
• Must be able to follow directions and work in high traffic areas.
• Must speak fluent English.
