Your Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader or Floor Manager, the dishwasher will be responsible in cleaning and providing cleaned dishes, utensils, and equipment to retail and production teams to smoothen daily operation activities especially during peak hours. You will also be responsible in keeping a clean and safe environment for your co-workers to work in. In this key role, you will be required to be attentive to detail in terms of noticing stains, spillage and broken items.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning the dishes and equipment from retail kitchen and production

Ensure sufficient clean dishes, utensils and equipment are available especially during peak hours

Ensure all equipment in the work area is properly cleaned

Ensure all equipment are sanitized and returned to where it belongs

Check and dispose properly of any cardboard, pellets, garbage and recycling waste

Cleaning of backsplash and faucets to avoid contamination

Report any equipment that are missing or in need of repair to Team Leader

Maintain cleaning supplies stock and report to Team Leaderfor restocking

Follow sanitation policies at all time & practice the ‘wash, rinse & sanitize’ cleaning method

Required Skills:

Experience in food and beverage setting or other related food business experience

Ability to function under own initiative as well as team environment

Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

Ability to clearly identify and understand names of cleaning chemicals

Ability to operate our commercial grade dishwasher

Compensation: based on experience

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Required license or certification:

Food Safe level 1 and whmis desired
