Responsibilities
As a Dental Hygienist working in a permanent capacity at one of our client locations, you will support the service and care of patients by being reliable, on-time, organized, careful and caring. You will complete initial dental assessments and then consult with dentists on patient follow-up and care. You will instruct patients about oral hygiene, take dental impressions and x-rays, promote healthy smiles and gums by cleaning teeth/removing stains and completing gum disease prevention, applying fluoride and in ortho offices, you may perform orthodontic procedures alongside a supervising dentist/orthodontist. You may also support the supervision of dental assistants and may be required to complete some administrative duties. You will leverage your passion for patient care to provide a wonderful patient experience, ensuring comfort, care and patient safety in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

• We are ideally seeking candidates who have a minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Dental Hygienist
• Positive outlook with a strong work ethic required
• Ability to work full-time hours in a permanent capacity is required
• Dedicated and reliable to ensure scheduled appointments are completed on time
• Strong written verbal and computer skills are required
• Dental hygienist licensed in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
• The ideal candidate is a self-motivated worker who is comfortable in dedicating themselves to a task through to its completion
