As a Database Developer (SQL), your role is to design and develop initiatives to meet functional & non- functional requirements of the product.
Main Responsibilities:
· As a Database Developer (SQL), your role is to perform all activities related to designing, developing, and maintaining a successful database environment.
· Analysis, design, modeling, and implementation of database components for one or more applications.
· Write and maintain SQL code (functions, stored procedures, objects).
· Provide support and guidance to developers who need to interface with the database.
· Write and maintain data conversion scripts (new customers, version upgrades, etc.).
· Maintain various development environments.
· Displaying initiative in research, proposal and development of tools, technologies, and techniques.
· Supporting resolution of production issues, including independently completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis.
· Contributing to development and documentation of standards, guidelines, and methodologies for product design & development.
· Potentially helping in conducting detailed code-reviews and providing feedback in a constructive manner.
· Collaborating and communicating effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
· Active participant in Scrum team and Scrum activities.
A successful candidate will have:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or demonstrated projects if self-taught.
· 3-5 years of development for relational database applications.
· Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
· Strong experience with SQL Server.
· Strong troubleshooting skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.
· Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
