We are hiring a Data Scientist to join our AI team! In this exciting role at the heart of our technology, you will be responsible for making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful machine learning projects.

What You Will Do:

• Make actionable recommendations based on the findings
• Keep pace with new approaches and trends and use them in your own solutions
• Develop innovative solutions for trend recognition using machine learning and advanced statistics
• Transform complex databases into relevant conclusions and recommendations
• Communicate the results and performance of the models to Management
• Help maintain our data mining tools and platforms

What You Will Need:

• Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc
• A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, science, engineering, statistics, AI, computer science or related fields
• Multi-platform production experience with commercial and open-source data mining frameworks, including R or Matlab, Python, GitHub
• A Master's degree in Statistics, Machine Learning or AI
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and Cassandra, HBase
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Scala, Python, Java
• Ability to focus on vaguely defined issues requiring the application of a creative approach
• Experience in the field of advanced statistics, data mining and text mining
• Understanding of algorithmic complexity and scaling of execution times and use of memory with large datasets
• High level understanding of the underlying theory of machine learning
• Knowledge of data science approaches in understanding the consumer would be an asset
• Proficient in applied analytical techniques, including regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, SVM, collaborative filtering, k-nearest neighbour, association rules, and other machine learning techniques
