Data Entry Clerk

This position is responsible for coordinating a high volume of application credential packets that include paper and various computer based documents for input into the Banner system.The position requires extensive communication with applicants via phone and electronic mail regarding status checks. We are seeking a data entry specialist (freelance) for a project-based position at our agency. In this role, you'll be responsible for comparing, migrating, and connecting financial data points between spreadsheets. In this role, you will report into a Senior Finance Manager and collaborate with our Account team.

Responsibilities:

·Input and update data into our spreadsheets with utmost accuracy and efficiency

·Adhering to best data management practices

·Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes

·Verify data by comparing it to source documents

·Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

·Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation

Qualifications:

·High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related field is a plus

·Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role is preferred, but not required

·Proficient in using data entry software and Microsoft suite of tools

·Expertise in MS Excel; savvy in VLOCKUPs, formulas, and pivot tables

·Experience with Dynamics AX or Dynamics 365 is a plus

·Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

·Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

·Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

·Familiarity with data protection regulations and confidentiality guidelines is a plus
