We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Instructor, you will play a crucial role in training and mentoring aspiring cybersecurity professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the industry. Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:

- Develop and/or update comprehensive curriculum for cybersecurity courses, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.

- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including presentations, hands-on exercises, lab assignments, and assessments.

2. Classroom Instruction:

- Deliver high-quality instruction on various cybersecurity topics, such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

- Facilitate engaging discussions, lead demonstrations, and provide practical examples to enhance student understanding and application of concepts.

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging active participation and collaboration among students.

3. Practical Labs and Projects:

- Design and supervise hands-on lab exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts and enable students to gain practical experience with industry-standard tools and techniques.

- Develop challenging projects and assignments to assess students' mastery of cybersecurity skills and promote critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

4. Individualized Support and Mentoring:

- Provide personalized guidance and support to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and enhancing their learning experience.

- Conduct regular one-on-one and group mentoring sessions to address individual learning needs and provide feedback on students' progress.

5. Industry Knowledge and Research:

- Stay abreast of the latest developments, emerging threats, and advancements in cybersecurity through continuous learning and research.

- Incorporate real-world case studies and relevant industry examples into instruction to enhance students' understanding of practical cybersecurity scenarios.

6. Student Evaluation and Assessment:

- Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth and improvement.

- Track and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall progress.

7. Professional Development and Collaboration:

- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences, participating in webinars, and pursuing relevant certifications.

- Collaborate with other instructors and team members to continuously improve curriculum, teaching methodologies, and overall program effectiveness.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

- Professional certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent.

- Extensive industry experience in cybersecurity, including practical knowledge of network security, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, incident response, and secure coding.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

- Passion for teaching and mentoring, with demonstrated experience in delivering technical training or instruction.

- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needs.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot complex cybersecurity issues.

- Up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and defense strategies.

- Proficiency in using industry-standard cybersecurity tools and technologies.

- Prior experience in curriculum development or instructional design is preferred.

- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and promoting cybersecurity best practices.
