We’re looking for a Defense Cyber Security Expert to join their Global Cyber Security team. In this role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and selected industry partners to respond to advanced threats and sophisticated security challenges. A day in the life:
- Identify, make, and maintain working relationships across the business lines and support teams.
- Determine regional incident response requirements and align with relevant stakeholders.
- Propose and deliver projects to enhance team’s incident response capabilities.
- Please note: The nature of this position is a technical security function, not a compliance function.
- Provide verbal briefings, visual presentations, and written reports to management, industry partners and other stakeholders.
- Participate in sharing communities
- Adapt best practices, or define and execute actions to manage cyber security incidents in our enterprise environment.
- Successfully function as lead incident responder for advanced threats by tapping into your knowledge of modern SIEM technologies, forensics, malware, security automation, etc.
- Enable, guide and mentor junior members of the team.
- Drive lessons learned activities after incident closure to identify potential gaps in our security controls.
Skills, requirements & traits:
- Excellent hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: Threat Intelligence, Incident Management & Response, Data Analysis in a SIEM, Forensics, Automation, Cloud Security, OT Security.
- Knowledgeable in project management.
- University degree (or college) in Computer Science, Information Technology.
- Honest and professional, strong team influencer, able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence and collaboration.
- 5+ years working experience in cyber security or related field in a corporate, military, or manufacturing environment.
- Able to work under pressure, facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- A consistent history of recognized technical certifications in cybersecurity such as GDAT, FOR508, OSCP, CCSK, GRID and so on.
- Excellent communicator and networker, able to engage and effectively respond to diverse stakeholders.
