Cleaner Wanted:

Housekeeper wanted for 6 bedroom/6 bathroom single family home in Whistler starting ASAP.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies
• Clean sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards
• Empty and clean trash cans
• Clean mirrors and windows
• Polish fittings and fixtures
• Make up beds and change linens
• Run errands / grocery shop on occasion
• Observe and report any maintenance issues
• Keep cleaning equipment in good working order
• Sort and wash laundry using machines or by hand as required – primarily bed linen and towels
• Bring in mail
• Listen and respond to resident's queries and requests
• Maintain all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition
• Maintain clean storage area for equipment and supplies
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum and sweep all areas of the establishment

Required Experience / Qualifications:

• Criminal record check / background check required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to approximately 35 lbs)
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Must speak English and be authorized to work in Canada with a valid working visa
• Prior cleaning / housekeeping experience
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend

Availability:

Must be available to do a full clean of the house one day per week – preferably Mondays
