Job Description

Title: Automation QA

Location: Hybrid – Waterloo

Duration: 6 month contract + possible extensions


Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for an Automation Tester to join a leading Financial Software client in the Waterloo Area. This individual will be working on a Channels Service Platform that transforms financial institutions Architecture and infrastructure, to help serve their customers efficiently. This includes branch transformations to digitize and modernize banking. The successful individual will have experience in both manual and automation testing, creating test cases and have strong analytical skills. They will need experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, REST API’s, and Postman. It would be a plus to have an understand of microservices & Database technologies. This person must be self driven and have strong communication skills.


Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • 50/50 Manual & automation testing background
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
  • REST API exposure
  • Experience with Postman or related tools
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an Automation Tester
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins


Plusses

  • Database technologies such as Cassandra
  • Microservice understanding.
