Job Description

We are hiring a full-time or part-time dentist at our busy Clinic in Barrie, ON!


The clinic is very busy and has been established for many years, with a dedicated supporting team. The main associate has moved, and has a full patient base to support.


The right candidate will possess strong communication skills, a caring attitude towards patient-centred care, good patient-management skills and should be comfortable performing a full range of dental procedures.


Responsibilities

Build rapport with, and adequately manage the care of the patients in the office

Work collaboratively in a team environment

Have a good handle on regular general dental procedures including restorative, endodontics, periodontics, crown and bridge work and oral surgery

Provide preventive dental care such as regular checkups and fluoride treatments.

Work with patients to develop a treatment plan that addresses their individual needs.

Perform general preventive and restorative procedures.

Communicate with other health care professionals about patients' dental status.

Devise marketing strategies for the practice.

Keep accurate records of appointments and treatments.


Qualifications

Canadian Dental Graduate or equivalent (NDEB certified)

1-2 years clinical experience preferred however new graduates are welcome to apply. Mentorship provided.
