Adecco is currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time Apprentice Mechanic in Middle Sackville, NS to work at a well-known and well-established company majoring in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role and is proficient in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Able to read and comprehend service and technical information
- Road test vehicles and test automotive systems and components
- Able to diagnose defects in and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Should have a high degree of professionalism, exceptional organizational skills and a great commitment to a safe workplace
- Skilled in operating tools, equipment, parts and procedures utilized during the repair and servicing of vehicles and equipment
- Capable of utilizing fleet maintenance software programs
- Knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance program is required
- Perform maintenance tasks & maintain a clean work area at all times
- Skilled in the repair of special-purpose equipment
- Must have a deep knowledge of hydraulic systems and the ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Pay rate: $45,000/year
- Location: Middle Sackville, NS
- Able to be cross-trained in different areas
- Job type: Full-time; Permanent Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, independently as well as part of a team
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a related role
- Shifts: Monday to Friday; 7h30 - 17h00
