Our reputable client in Calgary is currently seeking an Accountant II to join their focused team for a contract opportunity.

As the Accountant II your day-to-day responsibilities of this contract role may include, but not be limited to:

• Perform financial and month-end close processes
• Reporting
• Informing about accounting policies and procedures
• Complete journal entries and account reconciliations
• Provide financial and business analysis
• Ad hoc duties as requested

Requirements

Showcase your skills as an Accountant II with our client. The successful Accountant II will possess the following:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Experience with complex consolidations
• CPA or CMA designation
• Post-secondary education in Accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Available to start immediately
• Highly detailed and self-motivated
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• 3+ years of practical financial experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
