310T Apprentice Jobs

GFL Environmental is looking for a 310T Apprentice to join the growing Liquids division in Bradford, ON!
Key Responsibilities:

• Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs
• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance services
• Maintains a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate / OHSA standards
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned
• Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate and assign repairs
• Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associates with repairing vehicles, documenting part usage and accounting for repair times
• Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment
• Conducts safety checks on all vehicles and equipment
• Working alongside apprentices to provide them with assistance and guidance

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

• Applicants with 3+ years’ experience will be viewed with priority
• Valid “G” driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Experience with welding will be considered an asset
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Own tools are required
• Enrolled in a 310T apprentice program
