Note: The successful candidate is required to work remotely with onsite activity in Fredericton occasionally as required. SNB will provide office space in Fredericton with access to pertinent information and resources for the duration of the engagement.

Deliverables


The Project Manager will be expected to:


  • Report status and progress of assigned activities to SNB and GNB management as required.
  • Other roles, tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Manage scope, requirements, resources, time, cost, quality, risks, and communications for on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Drive structure and content for Project Status meetings and Steering Committee meetings with key Client stakeholders, as well as for all Agile/Project ceremonies.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to define and establish project scope and requirements, create solutions, and develop an executable plan, accounting for resource needs, timelines and costs.
  • Design and conduct discovery sessions, document requirements/user stories, articulating clear work streams and definitions of done, lead project scrums and related ceremonies, working with technical teams to determine scope and organize into sprints.


Requirement Detail/Qualifications


  • Meets in conference with program managers and other cognizant officials and states problems in a form capable of being solved.
  • Evaluates proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and estimated costs for implementation and operation.
  • Formulates statements of management, scientific and business problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified computer systems to solve these problems, and obtain approval thereof.
  • Reports progress of the project on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the sponsors of the project.
  • Defines and documents the objectives for the project, determines budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the project team.
  • Manages the project during the development, implementation and operations start up by ensuring that resources from all service areas are made available
  • Must have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, analysts and programmers.
  • Prepares plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analysing or displaying problems. Works with a variety of scientific, business or engineering tools requiring a sound knowledge of mathematics and management sciences.
