Overview A Utilities Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the utility services for a company or organization. This includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems such as water, gas, and electricity, as well as managing the budget and resources associated with these services. Detailed Job Description The Utilities Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the utility services for a company or organization. This includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems such as water, gas, and electricity. The Utilities Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the budget and resources associated with these services, as well as ensuring that all safety and environmental regulations are met. Additionally, the Utilities Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Job Skill Requirements• Knowledge of utility systems, including water, gas, and electricity
• Ability to manage budgets and resources
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field
• Professional certification in a related field (e.g. Certified Energy Manager)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of utility systems, including water, gas, and electricity
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource management
• Knowledge of strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field
• Experience in managing utility services
• Experience in developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems
• Manage the budget and resources associated with utility services
• Ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are met
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Monitor and report on the performance of utility services
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors as needed
