Quantitative and analytical skills (extensive spreadsheet analysis, dashboarding and strong mathematical abilities).

Manage all product inventory levels and coordination of inventory within the distribution network.

Manage ad-hoc projects, such as cohort and retention analysis.

Work experience 3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of customers

Customer service-oriented Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would be an asset

Must have supply chain piercement background and ERP software experience - AX dynamics

Procurement Demand Planner, Calgary, Alberta (Remote/Hybrid)

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent procurement work experience.

3-5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

3+ years of experience in demand planning role with exposure to IBP.

Post-secondary education or equivalent related to Materials Management & Supply Chain

Develop analyses for upcoming demand for the production environments.

Supervise and ensure consistency of forecasts for customers and production on a month to month basis

Completion of University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field

Preferred: completion of Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field

Working Knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement experience is an asset

5-7 years of proven experience in Planning, S&OP, or Operations function, preferably within the consumer goods industry

Previous experience using ERP system to forecast using statistical models at a sku-account level

APICS (CPIM/CSCP/CLTD) or similar certification

Manage, maintain, and review the demand forecast generated in the statistical tool, Logility.

Meet with sales team to suggest modifications consistent with the knowledge of current or historical demand with a solution driven agenda

Reviews the forecasted demand with the planning director/ manager/team, for the next three months to align demand with manufacturing capacity

1-2 years of hands-on experience in customer service, planning and scheduling and/or sales areas

Microsoft D365 experience is an asset

Follows up on sales orders’ compliance against original forecast with both sales team and service assurance personnel (forecast accuracy)

Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Operations Management.

CSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional) Certification is an asset

Effectively uses SLIM4 reporting and system functionalities to enable an exception based forecast management approach.

Experience with at least one statistical/econometric software packages (Biogeme, SPSS, ALogit);

Experience in data analysis, databases, and scripting (MS Access, R, SQL, Python, VBA);
