Previous experience in Heavy Civil Construction

Experience running rock trucks, skid steers are an asset

Responsible for the maintenance and inspection of provided equipment.

Be prepared to complete heavy equipment operations in a variety of weather conditions.

Minimum 5 years of equipment operation on equipment preferred

Train and mentor team members to ensure enhance their skills and knowledge of microtunneling and MTBMs.

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bull Gang Foreman leading teams on a microtunnel project.

Must have strong leadership and communication skills.

Minimum of one (1) year experience in personnel management;

Participate and support the activities of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.

Participate in defining manpower requirements for assigned tasks and adjust if necessary;

Follow up with the project manager;

Knowledge of the maritime environment and/or the construction industry;

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP and CONCUR;

Identify and collaborate with the Operations Manager the requirements of materials, and tools

Demonstrate problem solving, planning, and organizing skills

Inform the manager of any scheduling conflicts and assist in resolving them

Ensures daily maintenance/inspections are carried out for all equipment on site; submitting equipment circle checks to the Operations Manager

3 to 5 years construction experience.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervising role in the road construction industry is an asset

Degree in Construction Management or a related field or Journeyman Trade designation required

Ensure progress reports including crew timesheets are completed and submitted to Project Manager daily

Be the liaison between the Project Manager and assigned work crew

Work closely with the Project Manager and the client to review and obtain closure to all RFIs and CO’s

5-7 years of experience in the construction industry required

Experience in medium to high-voltage substation construction and hydroelectric water control structures a definite asset

·Act as the liaison between management and team members

·Knowledge of patterns and design of landscaping

·Past experience with interlocking stone

·15-20 years of construction experience
