Previous experience in customer service, administrative support, or a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge of the dental industry and dental products is a plus.

Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM software is preferred.

Responding to broker questions regarding product inquiries via omni channel contact center

First call resolution to broker inquiry regarding underwriting rules, underwriting guidelines, risk acceptance, and system assistance

Adherence to quality assurance measures, such as call monitoring, corporate audits, and productivity targets

Proficient computer skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite programs

Manage work duties as assigned in a fast paced, results driven environment ensuring department goals are met or exceeded

3 years of underwriting experience in personal insurance is required

Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills

Managing phone queues ensuring all relevant information is provided to effectively support brokers through underwriting transaction including submissions and risk analysis

Explain underwriting decisions to our broker partners ensuring that strong broker relationships are maintained

Manage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely manner

Minimum 1 year of personal lines insurance sales experience

Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Provide knowledgeable insurance advice to clients on current prices, coverage, and opportunities in Farm, Small Commercial and Personal Lines

Minimum 2 years commercial insurance experience

Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure of competing deadlines

Communicate with clients via incoming phone queue, outgoing phone requests, and email in an efficient and positive manner

Knowledge of Medical terminology (course completed or in progress)

Excellent listening and communication skills

Handle inbound and outbound calls to obtain medical information from applicants

Process requests for additional information from underwriters
