Development Tester – Quality Assurance Jobs

• Execute test cases and report defects, including translating issues to management and communicating with BAs

• Participate in management and stakeholder meetings as required

• Experience and understanding of SDLC from requirement gathering through to post deployment

• Effective communications and coordination with team members including Developers, Engineers, and management Team

• Location: Vancouver - Up to 100% Remote, but candidate must be located in the Vancouver area

Experienced with defect management systems and game development tools

2+ years of software test engineering or relevant QA experience

You are a critical thinker, and a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills while being flexible and adaptable to change

Strong working knowledge of Excel, source control and document collaboration tools

Strong organizational and communication skills

* Strong Java programming skills as well as experience working with shell scripts.

* Experience implementing chaos, resiliency, SaaS infrastructure and region testing

* Experience developing interface boundary and functional tests for common protocols such as REST, gRPC and RabbitMQ

* Strong test and bug investigation, debugging and reporting skills

* Experience with industry standard automation and development tools (JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Docker, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.)

* Common testing experience in: SQL Databases, SSO, OAUTH2, OpenID, or SAML and RBAC functionality

2-5 years of experience in quality assurance on PC and/or console games;

Good knowledge of computer software and software development;

Experiencetesting in engine is a must;

ExperienceworkingwithUnreal/Unity Editor is a must;

Executespecific tests as required by the production team and the lead tester;

Perform tests against the establishedprocedures;

Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.

Familiar with Maven, Spring, Apache Camel, GitLab, IntelliJ Highly accurate and detail-oriented. Experience in an Agile Team

QA testers x 5 (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 5 Duration: 12 months

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Design and develop test automation scripts. Use test automation guidelines.

·Advise Project Manager regarding overall quality of project and identify outstanding issues through established project management protocols.

·Three (3) to five (5) years’ professional experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst / Teste

·Knowledge of testing tools is an asset.

·Works with business users, system administrators and project managers to provide accurate test cost estimates for projects/solutions.

Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst /Tester

·Develop and execute test cases, test plans, test strategies, test data and test environment setups.

2-5 years of experience in quality assurance on PC and/or console games;

Good knowledge of computer software and software development;

Experience testing in engine is a must;

Experience working with Unreal/Unity Editor is a must;

Execute specific tests as required by the production team and the lead tester;

Perform tests against the established procedures;
