Overview Underwriting Assistants provide support to underwriters in the insurance industry. They help with the processing of insurance applications and the review of policies. They may also be responsible for researching and gathering information to help underwriters make decisions. They help with the processing of insurance applications and the review of policies. They may also be responsible for researching and gathering information to help underwriters make decisions. They must be able to accurately interpret and analyze data, as well as have a good understanding of the insurance industry. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of the insurance industry
• Ability to interpret and analyze data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in the insurance industry
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and laws

Underwriting Assistants must have a good understanding of the insurance industry and its regulations and laws. They must be able to accurately interpret and analyze data, as well as have a good understanding of the insurance industry.
Job Experience
Previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred for Underwriting Assistants.
