PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AGENT Jobs in Alberta

Proven experience working in both office and remote settings with little to no oversight or supervision.

Based primarily in our Calgary corporate office, we support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration.

Coordinate with authorities on permitting and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and/or complete detailed designs of major customer projects after project award.

Coordinate and manage construction of required onsite infrastructure.

Provide technical assistance to the field and visit customer sites as needed, either remote or in person.

Research regulatory requirements and execute changes to achieve compliance.

Experience in design, project development, project execution, or operations of pipeline systems. Excellent project management, conflict resolution, communication and interpersonal skills.

Support asset management team with cost and schedule input into long-range plans.

4 or more years of related experience.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized university or college.

Engineering degree from accredited University.

Registered as a Professional Engineering or eligible to register with APEGA if you reside in Canada.

As a Developer, must have knowledge of all phases or construction and development management processes.

Excellent organizational coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills, including the planning and managing of multiple projects.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar is preferred.

Manage the application submissions and project schedules and obtain approval of development applications from the municipality.

Identify and manage qualified architects, engineers, environmental firms, construction companies and other professionals as needed.

Ensure that solutions offered and delivered reflect the needs of private sector, municipal, provincial, and federal clients.
