Sqf Practitioner Food Plant Quality Manager Jobs

Post-Secondary education degree/diploma- in business/management/engineering or equivalent.

Strong Financial knowledge, including budgetary management.

Manages all aspects of plant operations ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Stays current on production trends recommends any changes needed for improvement and ensures all requirements are attained.

Computer skills including Word and Excel.

Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing skills including background in a consumer goods environment.

Knowledge of safety programs, occupational safety, and health administration requirements and Code of Federal, State, and Local Regulations.

Manage, develop, motivate, and lead QA Personnel.

Train and manage staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods.

3+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance in the paperboard packaging industry preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff.

Quality Assurance & Safety Manager

Demonstrated experience in implementing business and corporate strategies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality Management Systems, and Continuous Improvement.

Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, problem solving, Quality Management Systems, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management.

Provide management to plant Quality staff by effectively coaching, training, mentoring, and monitoring performance.

Manage the plant quality department, with budget and staffing responsibilities

Thorough knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and process optimization.

In depth knowledge of customer requirements, compliance regulations, quality processes and procedures.
