Manufacturing Engineering Specialist Jobs in Ontario

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position in the manufacturing area

Experience in product development is an asset

Ensure continuous improvement of current processes to meet manufacturing target and exceed them.

Responsible for the development of the MBOM, BOP and the creation of the needed routings in the relevant systems (TC, D365..).

Responsible for the development and the release of all manufacturing documents (PFMEA, Process Flow charts, Work Instructions, Control plans,

Responsible to support and deliver new manufacturing technologies to improve competiveness and project profitability.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering

Experience with welding processes, procedures and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)

Knowledge of Teamcenter, Maximo and TipQA

Provide support to shop floor colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient production processes

Coordinate Discrepant Material Control and Material Review Board processes along with Deviations

Develop and report on audits, material reviews, deviations, material purges, rework packages and Interim Repair Authorizations

OHSAS 18001: Health and Safety management system standard;

ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standard;

TS 16949 Technical Specification Management and Linamar Quality Basics system standards.

The Global Operating System Plays;

Community based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.

Social committees and sports teams.

Previous experience managing ISO9001 certification.

Working knowledge and experience in Internal Auditing.

Working knowledge and experience using lean tools.

$70,000 - $90,000 (dependent on experience/knowledge)

40% hands on shop/floor & 60% office/acting as a liaison between production and management

Manage and maintain the calibration of equipment through the calibration log.
