Manufacturing Engineering Specialist Jobs in British Columbia

You have excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of CAD program and drafting skills

You have a proven track record in change management including ability to manage diverse personalities, cultures and behaviors

You have 5+ years’ experience leading and motivating a high performing team

You have previous experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), methods and process engineering, work studies, facility planning and cost estimation

You have excellent mechanical aptitude and have previous experience participating in the purchase, implementation and customization of equipment, machinery and tools

Good understanding of integrated management system principles, ISO9001 / ISO14001.

Manages the MRB process for plant related material dispositions.

Manage the internal audit program and lead audits

5 or more years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment with electro/mechanical products.

In depth working knowledge of 8D methodologies, establishing root cause and corrective actions.

Experience with Surface-mount technology and PCBA production/testing.

Experience with ISO Quality Management System processes/requirements and documentation.

Engineering Technologist Diploma or a related Engineering Discipline/Education combined with demonstrable experience and knowledge.

Ensures compliance to ISO9001-2015 business practices as per tekmar’s Quality Management System.

Updates existing production documentation based on Engineering Change Orders to support product life cycle requirements.

Creates custom packaging labels to meet customer requirements.

A minimum of 2-3 years relevant manufacturing experience in a production environment; current in applicable technologies.
